Advantage Travel Centre, the independent travel agent consortium, has awarded Europcar UK, the international car rental company, with a new three-year contract as preferred supplier for their business travel members.
This contract follows on from a partnership the two organisations have nurtured over the last seven years.
Advantage and Europcar are bringing fresh initiatives to the travel/car rental partnership. A new bonus scheme has been implemented to drive the productivity and link better incentive with monthly targets.
Car rental commissions are a very important part of travel agencies’ revenue. Even more so as the airline commissions have declined during the last years. In 2002, the 277 Advantage Business Travel members placed 40,000 rentals with Europcar and the trend is going up.
