EUROPCAR LAUNCHES SEARCH FOR BRITAIN'S FAVOURITE 'CAF'!

Europcar, one of the world's leading vehicle hire companies, is launching a search for the nations favourite cafe.

Cafes across the country will be judged by the nation and will see the creation of the definitive guide to cafe's across Britain. The Move IT Guide will ultimately become the cafe equivalent to other information resources such as Les Routier in France, where lorry drivers are given access to a network of hotels and restaurants offering home cooking and comfortable accommodation.

Britain will be divided up into five regions - Scotland, The North, The Midlands (including Wales), The South West and The South East - and voting forms will be available from your nearest Europcar branch, the Europcar Move IT website, www.moveit.co.uk and participating cafes.

There are currently 500 cafe's taking part in the awards, and this figure is expected to increase. Cafe's who would like to take part can call 01733 203875 for a participation pack.

Diners will be entitled to a single vote and the winning cafe will be the one that has received the most votes. If more than one cafe receives the same number of votes then judges will defer to the tie break question.

The announcement of the regional winners will take place in November with the final national result to be announced in January 2003.

The nation's favourite cafe will win the 'expert hand' of a celebrity chef who will present their award and serve their customers a great British breakfast, as well as winning £500 worth of new kitchen equipment.

In addition, the voters will have a chance to win some exciting prizes too. The top prize winner will have the choice of an all inclusive holiday to Spain or a six month 'Move IT' rental.
